Our story

In 2012, Ben Parker had the chance to see a TrackMan in person.  He was impressed by the data and thought about how the gold standard of ball tracking could help the average golfer.  Wouldn't it be cool to combine feel versus real, and actually see what's happening in your swing?  Around the same time, he read an article about guys in Chicago building man caves in industrial parks instead of their homes, and the idea clicked: an indoor version, built for golf.  The only missing piece was the location.  This was a big idea that needed a bigger space.

 

Years later, TrackMan's technology and interface for the everyday golfer had become so good that it was time to launch.

 

Private Indoor Golf, aka the PIG, is designed to make you feel like you're outside.  You shouldn't be hitting into a screen just feet from your face.  Not every location is ideal, but it should feel wide open and as close to the real game as you can get.  So the PIG is spacious, and it holds one of the largest commercial screens in the country, 29 feet wide and 14 feet tall.  It's as close as you'll get to TGL.

 

The details matter.  The bay is set up for left-handed golfers too.  There's an instruction mirror so you can check your swing with your own eyes, and the best hitting mat money can buy for feedback and injury prevention.  A 4K laser projector gives you bright color and enough power to light a screen that big in a space that size.

FAQs

Can I book a time and just come in on my schedule?

Yes.  Log in to Members, grab a time on Book Online, and come in when it suits you.  You can hold three one-hour bookings at a time, and book an hour again as they're being used.

 

Is the PIG private?

Yes.  The PIG is a members-only club with one private TrackMan bay, and membership is by request.

 

How do I get in?

Start with the Request to Join form.  We review every request, and if it's a fit we'll invite you to create your member login and choose a plan on Plans & Pricing.  Once your plan is active, you can book.

 

Can I bring guests?

Members can bring up to three playing guests, aka a foursome.  Guests sign the online waiver in person for now.

 

What are the hours?

Every plan and punch pass has 24/7 access.  You get in with your own key fob, usually ready within 24 hours of your plan going active.

 

Why TrackMan?

We run TrackMan because getting better starts with real ball and club data, and TrackMan's is the best there is.  If you have a TrackMan account, log in at the bay and your sessions sync to your MyTrackMan.

 

What is the PIG?

Private Indoor Golf is a members' club in Woods Cross built around one private TrackMan bay.  It's for getting better, not hanging out.

 

What memberships do you offer?

Flex Monthly is $300 a month, month-to-month.  Winter Club is six months, October through March, at $250 a month or $1,500 paid once.  The 10-Punch Pass is $300 for ten one-hour sessions, valid for six months.

 

Is there a winter-only option?

Yes.  Winter Club covers October through March, and the request form asks whether you're after long-term or winter-only so we can point you to the right plan.

 

How long is a session?

Sessions are one hour: 50 minutes of play, then 5 to 10 minutes to clean up, departing the bay before the top of the hour.

 

Do I need a waiver?

Yes.  The splash screen on the bay PC is your member waiver, so sign it before your first swing.

 

What should I bring?

Everyone playing brings their own clubs.  Because it's an indoor facility and the screen and turf can get dirty quickly, we request clean, unmarked or logoed golf balls that are new.  Wear outside golf shoes only if they've been cleaned ahead of time.  We provide a bucket and brush for cleaning clubs inside.

 

Which courses can I play?

The course library is extensive, with over 600 courses, including Pebble Beach, Bandon, and Pinehurst.

 

Do you offer lessons?

Lessons are available at $75 an hour and up with affiliated teachers and coaches.  Please inquire for more info.

 

Can I pause or cancel?

Pause is available for injuries and life events.  Winter Club, whether prepaid or month to month, is a six-month commitment and can't be canceled, since that's where the savings come from.  There's no mid-month or prepaid proration.

 

Where do I log in?

Members is where you log in to book bay time.  Member events will be added to the calendar.

 

Do you sell PIG gear?

Yes.  Hats, a crewneck, a tee, and phone cases are in the Shop.
